I almost forgot to mention this.. If you are using suns regular gigabit
ethernet adapter, ensure that you have the latest patch for the driver,
since there have been some major improvements in the later versions, when
it comes to both performance and bug fixes. This patch isn't included in
the patch clusters for solaris, AFAIK, instead you need to have an account
on sunsolve and download the individual patch.
