Thanks to Dave(ina) for the assist.
This was exactly the issue and changing "cleaning required" to NO allowed
the command line command to work. I don't understand why ejecting from the
GUI would work or not throw errors while the command line failed with an
error. I'm sure the GUI/command line discussion can be found in the
archives.
