Think of the DDS licenses (1 for each drive) as the means to make the drives
shareable. Then any servers than need to use those "virtual drives" should be
seen as either the full blown Storage nodes (back up other clients as well) or
SAN nodes (only themselves).

It helps to separate the DDS stuff from your mind when you are thinking about
howmany hosts will need to see those drives.

If you have 2 storage nodes (different from the networker server), you need 2
(SAN-) Storage Node licenses, whether you use DDS or not.

I am using DDS on Solaris 8 with Networker 6.1.2
Do you need additional storage node licenses for each host that wants to use
the shared drives?

I am able to add one host for drive sharing and it works fine but when I try
and add a second host I get a licensing error 'Cannot create storage node;
additional enabler(s) required.

I have 4 DDS Licenses (1 for each drive) a Remote Storage node and a Storage
Node/1 license.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.
