I recently installed NetWorker 6.3.1 on Windows 2000 servers at our remote
sites. A few of these sites use stand alone tape drives. To facilitate
operations, mount and eject commands were scripted. One site is having
failures with the same command that is working correctly elsewhere.

The daemon.log file does not trap any information.

Does anyone see anything wrong with this command? Running manually from a
command prompt or through a batch file has the same results but the GUI
functions normally.

The command being used is:
  nsrmm -j -f \\.\Tape0

The site working correctly:
[email protected]:QUANTUM DLT7000 1E46|Tape, \\.\Tape0

The site having failures:
[email protected]:QUANTUM DLT8000 0250|Tape, \\.\Tape0
[email protected]:QUANTUM DLT8000 0250|Tape, \\.\Tape1

The error message is:
nsrmm -j -f \\.\Tape1
nsrmm: RAP error: this is not a jukebox device, `cleaning required' can't be
set to `Yes'

Thanks in advance
David
