When I add a new client, it sometimes doesn't work, even though the config
is correct. It complains that the client I have just defined is not
registered. I'm not sure wether if it has something to do with an
unsuccessful previous attempt before the configuration was changed or not.

I run networker 6.1.3 on solaris 7. I have disabled the nscd daemon. The
client host is running networker software as it should. After a reboot,
the client now thinks it is called the FQDN, which caused the group to
fail previously. Now it still says that the client isn't registered. All
forward and reverselookups of DNS info checks out from both hosts. So I
restart the networker software with /etc/init.d/networker stop and then
start on the backup server, and it works! It smells like a bug/cache issue
of some kind to me!

Now, can anyone explain that? :) Its kind of frustrating to troubleshoot a
client for almost an hour every time one adds a new server to be backed
up. :/
