I will try to explain how this can be done without loosing newly added
directories.
I will give a Unix example but windows could be the same.
Now to the initial assumptions:
1. Filesystem: /myfs
2. /myfs contains 4 large directories: ld1, ld2, ld3, ld4
3. /myfs contains an unspecified number of smaller directories.
Procedure:
1. Create a local directive on /myfs (/myfs/.nsr) that will contain the
line:
   null: ld1 ld2 ld3 ld4
2. For the savesets you will have to specify:
        /myfs/ld1
        /myfs/ld2
        /myfs/ld3
        /myfs/ld4
        /myfs
The last entry is the "catch all" entry.
The results:
You will backup /myfs using 5 concurrent save streams (based on your
client parallelism)
The "null" directive should be used and not "skip" so that "connecting
directories"
information will be saved. If those will not be available you may have
problems with building
the client indexes in the recover GUI.
