Re: [Networker] Savegroup running but not writing to tapes

it still sounds like a timeout problem, what is the clients timeout period
? Is the same clients/savesets over and over ? Do they contain a large
number of files ?
I had a problem on a unix client which contained over 1 million small
files and even a full backup of this saveset took close to 22 hours....

Both on level backups and weekend fulls.

Most likely there is a client not done with its savesets which could
indicate that they have a large number of files in the saveset and that
thier timeout period is not yet reached.
Is it during incremental or level backups only ?

We have been experiencing this problem quite regularly.
The Networker GUI shows that all drives 'writing done', but when I
look
in the 'Group' windows, some clients are still running and pending.
What seems to be the cause of this and possible fix/solution?
Environment:
Networker Server v5.5 on Unix-AIX O/S
Client is NetWare v6 with Networker v4.21
