I have had this problem when installing the 4.21 client on our Netware boxes.

After install, it doesn't automatically create the networkr.ini file, i have to
copy this file in manually to the root of SYS: volume. Without that file, when
you start the client, you get the error you specified.

Cheers,
Ryan.

    Hi Brendan,

I have seen this before... it was when the client and the server
were on the same subnet though... Have you tried to ping the server
from the client? Both server and NetWare client, should answer each
other when you ping: FQDN, name, IP.

The other thing I would check, is if the NetWare clients have a
SYS:NETWOKR.INI file? If they don't have it. The file should look
somethings like this:

default server=backup.domain.com
polling interval=5
colorset=C
screen saver=0

If the file exist, you should try to rename it and then make a new
one. Write down the exact same information.

    Good Luck!
/Joaquin Camp.
