Hi

Notes problem ...

Does it fail on the same nsf file each time?
Try changing the MyArgs=-R -D9 This will produce a .cat file (which is just
a text file despite windows thinking its a security file) which will give
better debugging and an idea of what is actually happening. You want to pay
particular attention to the status codes in this file. 0 is what you are
looking for, the other codes are detailed in the install guide for the
module (I think! Might be wrong but it's certainly in docs produced by
legato)

If it is the same file each time, try backing up that file with MyArgs= -D9
d:\lotus\domino\filename

This won't solve the problem but it should give you a better idea of what's
going on.

Hope it helps!

Hello All,

Legato backup problem with notes and novell Details
are as follows.

1. Lotus notes server version 6.X with Legato business
module version 2.2

Backup starts it takes the backup upto 10GB and
suddenly it gives the error as follows. Earlier backup
was getting completed w/o any problem when customer
was having lotus notes version 5.X and Legato
Businesss module version was 2.1.

With new module following changes has been done on
client side besides loading new version on lotus notes
server.

Saveset:NOTES
In the remote tab following information is in placed.
backup command :- nsrnotesv.exe
Application information:-MYARG=-R
DATAPATH=D:\lotus\domino

2. Novell Server Version 5.1 with support pack version
5 , Novell module version 4.21 with open file manager.

If we take the backup of individual volume , backup
gets completed w/o any error. Even if we take 3 to 4
volumes of Novell backup in save sets such as sys:
data: oracle: bful: it gets completed w/o any error .
But customer wants to take the full backup once in a
month by giving saveset as ALL so that he can take the
NDS backup . Whenever we do saveset as ALL novell
server abends. Can we take only NDS backup by giving
NDS as saveset it is allowed to do so.

Following is the error log.

Tried by incresing savegroup paralliesm to 8 and also
tried by decresing the timeout to 0. But it has not
helped.
