Hey Librado,

The method I have always used for this (and which still holds merit) comes
from Legato's Technical Bulleting 001 ...
http://portal1.legato.com/resources/bulletins/

Although this document seems to deal more with volumes in the media indexes,
there is good information here for you to accomplish what you are after
here.
That is, if a simple DELETE of those retired clients does not seem to do the
job for you.

Also, are these clients completely removed from your environment? or are
they just being removed from the backup schedule?
If the former, then make sure there are not any entries for them in your
HOSTS files or DNS.
Otherwise NetWorker can read them there and make erroneous entries to your
/NSR directory.

Good luck, but I am sure you will be fine here my friend :-)

Tom

Hello All,

I'm trying to clean up our Networker and remove old clients.
The clients no longer exist in the Client->Setup window, but When I go
to Client->Indexes, it still shows the old (deleted) clients with the
index value of 0 or nothing at all.

How do I remove these clients in the Client->Index window?

TIA,
