I am sorry, but you are going to go through a lot of problems. The media
database is the one you can not migrate.

You'd better contact Legato, I know thay can do it for you. (Worth a few
thousands)

Are you sure that doing MMRECOV from the Sun E4500 to the HP-V would not
work?
If memory serves me (which sometimes it does not! <g>), as long as both
platforms are UNIX, then the contents of the \nsr directory should be none
the wiser.

IMHO..  since HP has been commisioned as your new DR system, what harm is
there in trying?
