Are you *sure* that your jukebox is defined with a barcode reader?

If you run

echo 'option Dynamic\noption Hidden\n. type: NSR Jukebox\nprint\n' | \
        nsradmin -s your-server-name

(Assuming your echo does \n interpretation)

Does it show:

             bar code reader: Yes;
       match bar code labels: Yes;

Also, can the jukebox *read* the labels? Running

        /etc/LGTOuscsi/sjirdtag your-jukebox-control-port > /tmp/barcode-list

and then verify that the jukebox can see the VolumeTag for each barcode
you deposited.
