Using the following builds:
SQL 7.0 SP4 (Build 7.00.1063)
SQL 2000 SP3 (Build 8.00.760)
SQL 7.0 SP4+Hotfixes (Build 7.00.1077)
SQL 2000 SP3 (Build 8.00.760)

and Networker 6.1.3 as the client software we are receiving SQL timeout
errors or just plain latency on random SQL servers in our environment when
backing up the System State only.  These Compaq servers on GigE have the
horsepower to deliver so it isn?t a hardware issue.  Any idea?s or has
anyone seen this before?  Fixes?
