Staging is just that legato uses disk as a buffer before writing the data
to tape. You can select when certain events happens. e.g. when it starts to
showe data to tape, etc.

It is a general mechanism.

I don't se the point with staging once you have enough disk. The point
would be to always clone. So each tape set would be created as it should:
one saveset at a time. With disk, there is no penalty involved.

If it is true that NetWorker on automatic can only push all savesets to
tape simultaneously, it would not be terribly surprising. It would just be
business as usual.
