I think I may have seen the same thing. Windows SFU and full back ups
happening every night despite the schedule. I don't have any more help other
than maybe we are both not crazy!

I'm running a Dell PowerVault 775n NAS device that's basically configured
with Windows 2000 server and Microsoft Services for UNIX (SFU). I share a
data directory (via NFS) from this Dell box to a few UNIX client systems.

I've installed the Windows 2000 Networker client on the PowerVault, and
backup the NFS data directory using the Legato software. Unfortunately, it
appears that the entire contents of this directory is being backed up every
night regardless of the scheduled level of backup. The data is only
accessed by UNIX NFS clients, but is being backed by the Windows/Legato
client installed locally on the NAS device.

I'm assuming it has something to do with the archive bit being reset or
something along those lines. Does anybody have any feedback relating to a
similar installation.
