Hello,
We run Networker version 6.1.2 on Solaris 8. First, backups are stored on
disk volume, then auto-staged on tape. Unfortunately, some savesets are not
removed from disk volume after staging completes. Please, anybody can
explain me such strange/buggy behaviour?
For example:
atari|root|# mminfo -q volume=Fl.27
volume client date size level name
# seems ok, but:
atari|root|# mminfo -mq volume=Fl.27
volume written (%) expires read mounts capacity
Fl.27 73 GB 74% 08/16/03 465 GB 36 100 GB
# where is 73G? :
atari|root|# mminfo -r ssid,cloneid,savetime,name -q volume=Fl.27
ssid clone id date name
atari|root|# mminfo -r ssid,ssflags,savetime,name -q volume=Fl.27
ssid ssflags date name
[...]
3332561410 vF 05/17/03 /fw1/1
3266301953 vF 05/14/03 /fw2/3
3059014401 vF 05/05/03 /fw3/4
3332580866 vF 05/17/03 /fw3/5
3266233857 vF 05/14/03 /fw4/7
[...]
atari|root|#
These savesets are only shown if I'm not asking about "cloneid"
or "copies". In such case - nothing is returned by mminfo.
I am not able to remove these savesets because of lack of cloneid. These
savesets were staged to tapes already. I want to retain these savesets on a
tape.
atari|root|# mminfo -r name,ssid,cloneid,volume,copies -q ssid=3332561410
name ssid clone id volume copies
/fw1/1 3332561410 1053341814 000744 1
atari|root|#
The only safe way to clean disk volume is to relabel it. But I don't like
such solutions.
