I´ve contact Siemens Support Paderborn!

They found the solution!

Our Networker Server is 6.1

Windows Client was Version 7

The 7 Gui can`t work together with Networker 6.1 Server in a Cluster, cause in
the Server Version 7, is a new Feature " Remote access all clients". It´s not
in NSR 6, so the new 7 Gui needs this Option to work with directed Recovers.

Now, I have to downgrade the Win Clients to the newest 6.1.3 Version.

That`s it! Rtfm!

Greetings
Olaf

Hi

Be shure that there is every "alias" defined (full qualified dns-names, this
was my problem, few days ago)
Put all the physical names in the "remote access" field of your virtual
client resources.

Regards
Klaus

Betreff: [Networker] Problems with Recover from W2K Cluster

Hi Folks,

when I would like to make a Recover from our W2K Cluster (2 physical 2
virtual Clients)
I get the message "Permission denied - User administrator does not have the
"Remote access all clients" privilege, to perform remote recover.

I´ve checked the Remote access fields, but can`t find an mistake..?

I´m using NetWorker 7 on our Windows Cluster Clients.

Has anybody an idea?

Greets
Olaf
