Re: [Networker] savepnpc scripts for a W2K server

That's not the way it works in UNIX. I would think it works the same on
Windows. My pre cmd does not call save.
The save command calls the pre command for each saveset. The post
command runs the whole time, watching for all of the savesets to
complete. The pre and post commands are child processes (or maybe
siblings) of the save.

As part of the savepnpc setup, you have to include the save command in
your
batch file to backup the savesets specified in your client resource.
The
save command gets fed all the appropriate arguments by savefs. I want
to
do some error checking such that if the save command fails (and
hopefully
returns an error code) then the batch file/script exits without running
further commands. Does anybody have batch files or preferably perl
scripts
that do this? It can be via savepnpc or via an alternate backup
command.
TIA.
