Hi,

Any special reason for that? I came across at least once where
putting
robotic to LUN 0 solved the problem (with NW+NetApp). In SAN Legato
also
recommends robotic to be on LUN 0 if I'm not mistaken, but had many
installations with MDR being on 0 and robotic on 1 and no problem at
all.

As for original request, I don't thing You can put it to 1.0.0.
Usually
on that address I always saw CDROM ;). I believe You can put it to
1.2.0 (exchange place with tape) by changing how cabling goes.

However, if IBM recommends to have it on LUN 1, I guess there has to
be
a reason (which I would like to hear and know).

Cheers,
Hrvoje

The IBM engineer is right....
The robotics of the jukebox should be addressed by LUN 1.

Hi All,

I am using AIX 4.3.3 with NW 6.02

the #inquire shown below
[email protected]:IBM ULT3580-TD1 25D4|Tape
[email protected]:IBM 03584L32 2460|Autochanger (Jukebox)
[email protected]:IBM ULT3580-TD1 25D4|Tape
[email protected]:IBM ULT3580-TD1 25D4|Tape
[email protected]:IBM ULT3580-TD1 25D4|Tape

Actually I want the jukebox to show as [email protected] by using scsi id
0 for autochanger. checking with the IBM engineer as saying that can
not be configured. Is that true ? Just be peculiar here.

cheers...
Robert
