Hello,

I have configured DDS to run on a SAN storage node and the backup is
successful. But when we attempt to recover a file the tape is loaded, an error
received, the LTO drive is disabled and the saveset on the tape is marked
Suspect.

The error in /var/adm/messages is "COMMAND: read error level > FATAL". Then it
does a scsi bus reset.

If I backup the data using DDS and then begin a recover using the LAN then the
recover is successful. I.E. DDS will write data but cannot read it!

Config is:
Sun Solaris 8
LTO * 4
Scalar 1000
Networker 6.1.1

Any ideas?

Mark
