Re: [Networker] How to backup just indexes?

Hello George.
What I have set-up here is a scheduled VDUMP of the index directories.
Since I have a TL812, I have reserved a number of slots and written a script
that loads a different tape each day and perform the vdump of the index
directories. In case of system crash or whatever, it can be easily
recovered.

Subject: How to backup just indexes?
Hello,
How can I instruct the server to backup all the client indexes without
having to backup each client? I just want to backup the indexes. Can I
specify the level? Maybe it wouldn't make sense to specify level since
everything is already finished from the last run, so I guess a level
full would be best.
One of the reasons I'd like to be able to do this is if I decide to move
the primary server to a different machine. I'd like to have a backup of
the indexes and backing up just the server would only capture its index.
I would probably also create a tar archive tape, but having the Legato
one would be nice too.
Thanks.
George
