Hi Raymond

In a word, no, it can't. In NetWorker, a 'storage node' is a client that
can write to its own tape drive (or other output device). A NetWorker
'client' can only send its backup data through an interface (an IP network
or shared memory) to a storage node or server, and that system writes the
client's backup data to the output device.

So, you could set up DDS to share devices between your server and your
storage node, then have your client backup over the IP network to either the
storage node or the server.

Hope this helps.

Have been trying to setup a test lab to test out this feature but seemed
having problem getting it to work.

Anyone willing to share your experience? My lab setup has 3 machines

1 Server
1 Storage Node
1 Client

I'm trying to share the storage node tape drive with the client. Can this
be done?
