If you're currently using file-type devices without a DBO license, you're
not running a legal configuration, even though the file-type device works
without the DBO license in version prior to 7.0.

DiskBackup Option was announced on 12 July 2002, that's when the licensing
requirement became effective.

NetWorker 7 has incorporated changes to the licensing code to enforce DBO
licensing.  Legato is offering a "grandfathering" program for those
customers currently using the DiskBackup capability.  Contact your supplier,
they should have information on this program.  If it's a reseller, and they
haven't heard of the program, ask them to contact their Legato rep.

My 6.1.2 NetWorker server has a file device up and running, and I don't
have a DBO licence.

The Legato price list that I was given by my supplier with my 6.1.x system
does not contain any DBO licences.

Am I missing something?
