Hi,

defining separate zones for the disks and tapes is a general rule in
designing a SAN.

Your problem is not caused by the zone configuration but is a
compatitibilyt problem between W2000 Service Pack 3 and SecurePath.

We have the same problem and are waiting since Dec/2002 for a fix.

As you probably know Windows 2003 will natively support multi-pathing and
Microsoft has integrated some Windows 2003 code in SP3.

You have to contact HP Support for further details.

regards,
Patrick Sibilio
