It looks to me that your pool(s) is/are too restrictive to allow
the server to write to.

Have a try to launch your save groups without saving index
(using -I flag from CLI or selecting NO_SAVE_INDEX from
group details). Create a dummy group where all clients are member
of and edit the group and select "NO_SAVE"
Start the dummy group to a dedicated pool or check your pool
settings to allow that new group to write to and start
the group (gui or using -O if you are using CLI).

Hope that helps,
Thierry

Sure,

Here are some error messages that I have been receiving (using storage
node
named FD51 as an example...This is happening on all of my storage
nodes).:

fd51: 1 retry attempted.
fd51: Index save error, no matching devices, check storage nodes,
devices,
or pools.
fd51: Cannot open save session with fd14.ftb.ca.gov .
***(fd14.ftb.ca.gov = Legato Server).***

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Subject: [Networker] Index's not backing up

I'm having an issue with Legato Networker Version 6.2.

The data is backing up fine, however, my index's are not. I've been
working with an engineer at Legato with no success. This is a recent
problem that has been happening, for no apparent reason. I'm wondering
if
anyone else has experienced this issue. The platform on my Networker
server is Win 2K Server. Most of my storgage nodes are Windows NT 4.0
Server SP6a. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
