Check and see what group your primary server is a member of. Next, do
any of your pools have the primary server's group selected? What value
is listed under the primary server's "storage nodes" field? It's my
understanding that the primary server backs up its data, bootstrap and
index to the first host listed in the storage nodes field. If none is
listed then it goes to the primary server which would be itself by
default.

We have two main pools: ATL and FUL. We do not select groups under our
two pools. Instead, we select levels. So, if I'm running a full, the
data will go to the FUL pool since this has level full selected only. If
I'm running an incremental, or level backup, the data will go to the ATL
pool since this has the various levels, except full, selected only. So
you could say that data from our various groups is segregated to one of
two pools based on level. However, you can do it the other way where you
select one or more groups under each pool. The groups will then
segregate their data to the various pools based on which groups are
selected for the active pools.

One more important thing. Check your pools to make sure the ones you
want enabled are in fact enabled and that the appropriate devices are
selected. Failure to select the necessary device(s) or enable the pool
will cause problems, forcing NetWorker to either insist on using the
default pool or just flat complain like a spoiled child for hours on
end.

Hope this helps.
