I would say either the driver is wrong, or it is installed as the wrong
autochanger. Try removeing and reinstalling it as a "generic SCSI jukebox"
as a test.

Hey everyone,

We have an IBM LTO 3581 auto-changer with one single LTO drive in it.
Running on Windows NT 4.0 SP6a
Legato Networker version 6.1.1
Our issue is that every time you preform a request to the Auto-changer
(Mount, Inventory, etc)
It comes back with "Vendor Unique ASC 0xff, ASCQ 0x3b"

JBCONFIG runs ok.
JBVERIFY comes back with the errors
Testing drive (\\.\Tape0) of Jbjbverify: Jukebox error: Vendor Unique, ASC
0xff ASCQ 0x29
Jbverify: Jukebox error: Vendor Unique, ASC 0xff, ASCQ 0x3b
Repeat...30 times

I can run NTBackup, I can mount and unmount tapes from the "ntutil" utility
(DOS based IBM auto-changer diag program)
I have already stopped the drivers for the Auto-changer and only the tape
unit drivers are running.
Running all the latest firmware and drivers for all hardware.

Now I am stumped because we have another site that from what I can see is
exactly the same.
Can anyone help?
Daniel King.
