The LTO2 is supported by NetWorker on Solaris.

Check the NetWorker hardware compatibility guide at
ftp://ftp.legato.com/pub/HW_Support/compatguide/NW_60/NW_60_HWCG.pdf

NetWorker uses drivers provided by the drive, systems or O/S manufacturers.

Does anyone know if the if the new LTO generation 2 tape drives are
supported or will work with Networker?

Qualstar now offers an 8433 w/LTO2 drives. The 8000 family libraries w/LTO
are listed in the compatibility matrix.

My backup server is a Sun E250 Solaris 2.6 with networker 6.1.2. There is
now OS driver support for the LTO2.
