Up to now, it's not possible to use a file device for both read and write at 
the same time.
Up to now, file device is like a tape device : read %% OR %% write a time, not 
both.
You will have to wait for Networker 7 for that long awaited feature. In that 
release, file devices
have been re-engineered. ;-)
