Here is one way to do it.

Give your server in the recovery site the same name as the server at the
original site. Recover the media DB and res files from your bootstrap with
"mmrecov".
Recover the indexes with "nsrck -L7".

Then recover to your new clients with directed recovers.

This will only work if the 2 sites are not in contact with each other.

My company is located in the middle east and because of the current
threats, managers are preparing another site in Europe to be a backup
site , just in case.

Our current backup system is Networker 6.1.1/Solaris 8/LTO Drives. The
backup site is also the same but different hostnames.

Any body knew a URL/document that describe in details how to restore our
data into the backup site--"the fastest possible way"? Given that the
indices are located on the tapes and hostnames are different.

Will appreciate any input.
