Has anyone experienced a problem with open files and Networker over NDMP?

We have a 6.1.3 HP11 server backing up an EMC Celerra through NDMP that
also fails on a certain file.  The file is always open and currently the
message we receive is:

NDMP Service Log:  Read fault on <file>

Originally, whenever this happened, the backup would abort.   EMC issued
an NDMP fix that prevented the aborts but we still receive errors on the
open file.  Ideas or comments?
