I applied 6.1.3 hours after it was released to address the long standing
issue with tapes loading and then sitting stuck on "ready for
reading/writing, idle." The first few weeks I thought I had the best thing
since sliced bread but since have had some problems. I have seen the
aforementioned issue pop up again a couple times and in the last two weeks I
have had a fun time with all 20 of my DLT7000 drives going in and out of
service mode. I'm not sure if I have bad media or if I'm having problems
reading the old 5.x labels left over in the juke.

Also, as a side note, when we introduced 6.1.3, we lost the ability to
backup our OS/2 clients. Since, Legato released a hotfix (nsrexec binary)
and I now have the OS/2 clients back on the server running fine.

Hey All,

Wondering if anyone has gone to 6.1.3 yet. Any new and exciting
'features'(aka bugs)?

=20

I'm currently on 6.1.2 and experiencing a problem that someone suggested
is possibly fixed in 6.1.3.

TIA,
