Placing the backup server within the group and specifying the same policy for
the backup server as is applied to the other clients within that same group
should resolve the issue.

Subject: Quick retention question

Hey All,

I'm writing a bunch of savesets with 1 month browse/retention periods.
I want the media to become recyclable after the 1 month, but the indexes
all have a 1 year retention period. I was wondering if there is anyway
to specify a "1 month" retention period for the indexes at the time of
backup. I know I can change the retention after the fact, but I was
just wondering if there was something I can do to force indexes to have
a specific retention length.

Thanks,

Joel
