Hello all,

is there any method to rebuild or check media database, if you get errors
like this:
16.01.2003 11:47:24 nsrmmdbd: error, client name must be specified

It looks that problem is in ss.xxx files because they are information about
savesets.
I have ver. 6.1.3 on W2K, clients are 6.1.1. on Tru64.

In my support they told me that if I get an error like this, media database
can not be repaired (not in 6.x.x versions - it could be done in 5.x.x
versions) and that we must reinstall server. It is not a very nice message
to hear so I would like to check arround if this is true?

I also find some steps to fix media database:

nsrck -L6 and then nsrim -X

Would this help? If not, what can be done?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Kind regards,

Primoz
