To complete the info I gave earlier:
According to our W2K team, the problem appears when the filesystems (several 
100 GB) are in a cluster. When the cluster fails over to another node, the 
Journaling seems to be corrupt, and booting takes forever.
For all other W2K systems (not-clustered) we are still Journaling with splendid 
results.

I've used Changed Journal now for several months.  Initially, I had the % 
values set too low.  Once I set these to the maximums, it has run perfectly for 
months.  I haven't noted long boot notes for the Windows 2000 system, either.  
We're using NetWorker V6.2.
