Here is the information on our LTO library as reported by the
/etc/LGTOuscsi/inquire command:

[email protected]:SEAGATE ULTRIUM06242-XXX1460|Tape, /dev/nst0
[email protected]:SEAGATE ULTRIUM06242-XXX1460|Tape, /dev/nst1
[email protected]:STK     L80             0211|Autochanger (Jukebox),
/dev/sg2
[email protected]:SEAGATE ULTRIUM06242-XXX1460|Tape, /dev/nst2
[email protected]:SEAGATE ULTRIUM06242-XXX1460|Tape, /dev/nst3

The /var/log/messages file reports the drive vendor: SEAGATE, model:
ULTRIUM06242-XXX and revision: 1460. I assume the stinit.def file MUST
contain the information for the actual drive, and NOT the changer,
correct? So, assuming that much, and the results above, would a likely
entry be:

manufacturer=SEAGATE model="ULTRIUM06242-XXX" revision=1460 {
scsi2logical=1 can-bsr auto-lock
mode1 blocksize=0
}

The stinit man page does mention that 'revision' can be used, BUT it
does not indicate whether or not it should be in double quotes like the
model? Any thoughts?

Thanks,

George
