Hi Brian

Certainly it's possible and should work just fine.  Before you use staging,
I'd recommend configuring just the file device, and doing some small backups
to it.

Environment Win2K Networker 6.2 server, two WIN2K (cluster)  Networker 6.2
Storage nodes. SAN attached everything.
 
Is it possible to have a file type device on the storage nodes?
 
I got it working on the Networker Server a while ago but, can't seem to make
it work on the Storage Nodes.
 
I am creating a device called rd=servername:f:\NETWORKERDATA.  I make a
staging policy for it etc.
 
Before I start pulling my hair is this even possible?
