If a saveset is fully contained on one tape (volume), it is (c)omplete.

If a saveset is spread across two volumes, the volume containing the
initial part of the saveset has the (h)ead, the volume containing the
remainder of the saveset has the (t)ail.

If a saveset is spread across N volumes, where N >= 3, the volume that
contains the beginning of the saveset has the (h)ead, each volume that
has a peice that is neither the beginning nor the end of the saveset has
*a* (m)iddle, and the volume that has the last piece of the saveset has
the (t)ail.

It's possible for a saveset to have multiple middles, if it gets spread
across more than 3 volumes.
