Hi Networkers,

i have here some problems with Networker 6.12 Solaris Client and a ORacle
9.0.1 DB. After manually allocate a channel i get the following strange
rman message.

NMO 3.5 for Solaris

RMAN> run{ set command id to 'SBT'; allocate channel T1 type 'SBT_TAPE'
parms

'ENV=(NSR_SERVER=pluto,NSR_CLIENT=jupiter1)';}

Befehl wird ausgeführt: SET COMMAND ID

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

RMAN-00579: the following error occurred at 12/09/2002 16:33:03

RMAN-03002: failure during compilation of command

RMAN-03013: command type: allocate

RMAN-06181: multiple channels requires Enterprise Edition

RMAN>

the same happens if i use fqdn.

RMAN-Konfigurationsparameter sind:

CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO RECOVERY WINDOW OF 30 DAYS;

CONFIGURE BACKUP OPTIMIZATION OFF; # default

CONFIGURE DEFAULT DEVICE TYPE TO DISK; # default

CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON;

CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO '%F';

CONFIGURE DEVICE TYPE DISK PARALLELISM 1; # default

CONFIGURE DATAFILE BACKUP COPIES FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO 1;

CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG BACKUP COPIES FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO 1;

CONFIGURE MAXSETSIZE TO UNLIMITED; # default

the same problem with the follwing setting:

CONFIGURE DEVICE TYPE 'SBT_TAPE' PARALLELISM 1;

Any ideas?
