Terry,
Unfortunately you are wrong at this time.
Recover will do and behave exactly the same as nwrecover - this means
file level recoveries.
The "save set recover" functionality of recover whether invoked from the
CLI or GUI, for NDMP backups will ignore the "Path to recover" field
that is used to filter recoveries in normal (Networker) save set
recoveries.

Hi Greg

Though the current NetWorker for Windows GUI programs don't support
file-level recoveries of NDMP backups, I believe that you can use the
NetWorker for Windows CLI program ('recover') to accomplish this. If
I'm
wrong, please let me know!

Thanks

Subject: [Networker] File-level Recovery Using Networker for Windows and
NDMP

I am currently using NDMP through NetWorker for Windows v6.x to backup
my
NetApp F880 filer.
The down side to this is that I can only do volume-level recovery.

It is my understanding that the next (major?) release of NetWorker for
Windows will allow me to perform file-level recoveries of my NDMP save
sets.
Is there much hope for me or shall I continue to breath normally?

Thanks for the info!
