Dears,

I have as everybody met the same problem and requested for
an enhancement to have the active save sessions being
sent to the drive not being killed when media verification error occurs,
suggesting Legato folks that a new tape should just be requested
in the same pool than the defect medium belongs to . I hope it
will be included into nsr7.x.

I also have got a jumbo kit LGTpa33799 for NSR6.1.1 on Sun and Tru64
Unix
that decreases the amount of media verification but the
problem is still there but less often.

TH

Your a case study on their website and they leave your case open 7
months..
Yikes, and I though others were getting quick turn arounds/better
support.

I get a block size error occasionally when my clone pool does media
verification; ie ... Block size is 32768 not 131768 disabling...
All versions...6.0.1, 6.1.1, 6.1.2., Both DLT 7000 and SDLT give the
error.

The case has been open since last year sometime :( Does anyone know of
a limit to how many years a case can remain open?
