Apparently it is a corrupted index and the issue seems to be resolved
now.

Perhaps the tapes are marked full or are set to not recyclable? You can
set
the tape to not full and recyclable in one go by doing:
nsrmm -yo recyclable <barcode>.

Subject: [Networker] Write protection
Hello,
I seem to have a minor issue. I'm running Legato 6.1.1. When I manually
recycle my tapes it shows they are expired and ready to go. How ever,
when they are mounted they are write protected. I don't understand, can
anyone shed some light on this?
