Confirmed changing the registry entry as suggested managed to
bypass/resolve the backup problem.  Does anybody know:
1) what does transmitmode reg_sz do?
2) why changing value of transmitmode reg_sz 0 is able to bypass the issue.
3) optional: anybody knows what/where to obtain the intel driver in case
any of my compaq server didn't work with changing the registry as suggested.
