I'm surprised you're having problems with /nsr on EMC. I've seen very good
performance from /nsr being on EMC. The one issue I've seen was with
NetWorker 5 doing nsrck -F's on around 80GB of indexes. Turned out that the
EMC was SRDF'd across to another site and the SRDF link didn't have enough
bandwidth for the amount of changes that the nsrcks managed to generate!

Easy way round this problem was to turn off SRDF for our /nsr disks and
everything was fine!
