Hi,

we are using the Microsoft Tool robocopy for that kind of a job. First we
do a precopy during the night and than an incremental copy the next nights.
After that incremental copy job is done we shut down the original server
and replace it with the new server.
Robocopy is a real fast tool and you don´t have to do additional backups.
