[Networker] Index backup errors, UASM Application exception occurred c0000005

Hi all,
Software levels
Networker: 6.02 (backup servers and all clients)
OS:NT4 sp6
The backups are suffering from an intermittent error, the backup of one or
more Index files stalls, and will fail if left alone to timeout. When this
happens a DrWatsons application error message is displayed on the Backup
server. If you 'ok' the message before the Index backup fails then it
usually continues and completes successfully.
I have an open call with support but so far they have been unable to find
the cause or any other similar hits. This is happening on all four of the
backup servers here.
Has anyone out there had any similar experience?

Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)
