Legato case LGTpa36868. Not sure if the fix is in 6.1.2, but it
certainly is in 6.1.3.

We did EVERYTHING that could have possibly been done. Our support team
went through tons of output and had me run all kinds of nsrchk, mminfo
and nsrjb commands. Couldn't even begin to go in to what was done.
Spent about 36 person-hours working on it. The final analysis was that
this was a (little) known bug in 6.1.1 and was fixed in 6.1.2. I'll
never know if that is true (I hope).

A while back, we were having a problem with our tapes not recycling
automatically. I had read on this list of other people having the same
problem. Our last resort fix was to upgrade to 6.1.2 but we decided to
wait for 6.1.3.
In the meantime, we lost our index during a system crash and had to
rebuild it (again). After the rebuild, our volumes started recycling
properly.
Hey, it worked for us, maybe it would work for you...
