I had this problem recently when I was trying to save 100,000 files from a
single directory to tape. The backup could take 15-20 minutes to start
because the client was busy setting up the backup. In the meantime, I saw
the "ready for writing, Idle" message. If the file selection process hangs
forever, you will see this message until you stop and restart networker.....

Hello,

I have following problem:

Sometimes drives remain "ready for writing" in the mode "idle " stand. If I
finish the nsrmmd-Processes is started after the processes automatically
again on the backup-server. I level out that on the Storage-Node is started
the processes only then again if no drive works more.

Somebody an idea at what that lies????
