According to

, support for Windows XP begins with NetWorker V6.2, so you're using a
NetWorker version that is not supported with Windows XP.  I'd recommend
upgrading to V6.2 on your NetWorker server and client, and retrying this
backup.

If that isn't possible right now, you could:

-> install NetWorker V6.2 Server on some other system (you can't install
NetWorker Server V6.2 on Windows XP; this isn't supported)
-> install the NetWorker V6.2 client on your Windows XP system
-> then, retry your backup.

That will let you know if the newer NetWorker version fixes your problem.
It's a simple matter to un-install the NetWorker V6.2 client and install the
NetWorker V6.0.2 client once your test is done.

But, could you run NetWorker V6.2 client software on your Windows XP system,
and run NetWorker V6.0.2 on your NetWorker server?  As a general rule, your
NetWorker Server version should be equal to or greater than your NetWorker
client/storage node version.  But there are specific cases where Legato has
'certified' this new-client-old-server to work.  I sure wouldn't do it in
any case that didn't have Legato's stamp of approval, though.

I'm starting to see entries like this in my savegroup completed emails.
The client is running Windows XP SP1, Networker client 6.0.2 (same as
the server,) and OFM v8.

The backup appears to be working fine, although sometimes it fails.
(With the same errors as above.)  Is this something I need to worry
about?
