Hi Ingo,
Have you tried to store the mailbox name in a file on the Exchange server and
then in your Networker client definition (on Solaris), you can specify the
parameter -I "c:\....." the place on the exchange server where you have stoed
the file.
Hope this help.
Regards.
Pierre.

Subject: german umlaute and mailbox backup
Hi all,
trying to perform a single mailbox backup we have the following problem: the
user name contains an umlaute "ä" which causes the *scheduled* backup to fail;
if I perform the backup *manually* from the exchange server, everything is ok.
The verbous output from the *scheduled* backup is:
Error: /Private Mailboxes/von Häfen Holger (/Private Mailboxes/von Hfen
Holger) <mailbox not found>
Our environment is
Networker Server: Solaris 8, Networker 6.1.1
Exchange Server: NT 4.0 SP6, ExchSrv 5.5 SP4, BSO Exchange 2.0.005
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ingo
